Harry Nottage kept his championship chances on full heat, securing pole position for the A final. Snapping at his heels and sharing the front row was Jake Taplin.
After another impressive showing in the heat James Petty secured the 2nd row alongside Jack Adams.
Jake’s has had his Ready Brek this morning and even gone back for seconds, he passed Harry and grabs the lead, Harry not out of danger yet as James Petty’s now on the prowl.
Jack Adams’ not so fast start results in Oliver Flashman securing 4th just as the wheels on James Petty’s pursuit for 2nd start slowing! James runs wide and collecting the barriers slows his progress and now he has pretty much everyone tussling for away past.
Harry Nottage wants to tighten his grip on the Championship lead and after losing the lead for a lap, he takes it straight back giving the unwanted 2nd position back to Jake.
Disaster for James Petty! He’s in the pitlane, battle scarred after a challenging couple of laps, James isn’t our luckiest driver in the championship.
Thomas Foss’ improvement each round is continuing, he has “Best Mate” Donny Bolt as his shadow, the two of them are in attack mode trying to halt the advances of new boy Aaron Clark.
Jack Adam’s races inst improving, after his tussle with James Petty he’s found himself having to combat the absolutely rapid Adam Harrad! Adam started the race 11th and is now fighting for a top 4 position at Jack expense, Adam isn’t alone.
Another new boy joining Adam in the Jack attack is another Aaron, Aaron Collett’s first race here at Lakeside is going from strength to strength.
Ben Cudby’s improving pace results in him sharing the same tarmac with another of our title contenders, Dylan Cotton.
Ben isn’t in the mood for taking prisons as he slices his way past Dylan was a great move on the inside into the hairpin.
Back at the front Harry Nottage can’t shake of the bad smell that is Jake Taplin, the duo now have an impressive lead over 3rd placed Oliver Flashman, the top are in a league of their own recording lap times half a second faster than the competition.
Jack Adam’s hard work comes undone as both Adam and Aaron fight their way past to 4th and 5th leaving Jack to now hold of Ben Cudby.
Harry Nottage is all smiles, crossing the line to collect another win and inch closer to his championship crown.
Jake Taplin collects a hard fought 2nd place with Oliver Flashman a distant 3rd position, that’s two podiums in two races for Oliver.
